This policy explains how Vitastow processes information. Vitastow is operated by the developer or legal entity identified on the applicable app-store listing (the “Operator”).
1. Information processed on your device
You may choose to enter or import routine names, schedules, notes and check-ins; document images and transcribed text; record details; household profile labels; and app, lock or backup settings.
This information is processed locally. Structured records are stored in a SQLCipher-encrypted database and attachments in app-private storage. The Operator does not provide an account or server that receives your routines, document images, OCR text or household records.
Android application backup is disabled. Vitastow marks private iOS record storage as excluded from iCloud backup. You may separately create an encrypted backup and choose where to save or share it. A destination you choose applies its own privacy and security terms.
2. On-device OCR
OCR runs on the device using platform libraries packaged with the app. Vitastow does not send the selected image or recognized text to the Operator for OCR. The editable result is a transcription aid; review it against the original image before saving or using it.
3. Household profiles
Household profiles separate records on the same device. They are not remote accounts and do not provide monitoring, messaging or cloud sharing. Only add another adult’s information when you have lawful authority and permission. Vitastow is intended for adults aged 18 or older.
4. Store purchases and RevenueCat
Apple or Google processes purchases. Vitastow uses RevenueCat to validate transactions and determine entitlement. Those services may process an app-user identifier, product and transaction information, subscription status, app version, device platform and limited technical information needed to provide the purchase service. Vitastow does not intentionally send private records to RevenueCat. See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.
5. Permissions
- Camera: capture a document when you choose the scan action.
- Photos: select an image through the system picker.
- Notifications: schedule reminders you create on the device.
- Biometrics: ask the operating system to unlock the app. Vitastow does not receive or store your biometric template.
6. Analytics, advertising, sale and sharing
The current release does not include third-party advertising, behavioural analytics or third-party crash-reporting SDKs. The Operator does not sell personal or consumer health data or use private records for targeted advertising.
Information leaves Vitastow only when a purchase provider processes limited purchase information, you choose an export or external destination, or disclosure is legally required from information actually controlled by the Operator.
7. Retention and your controls
Local information remains until you edit or delete it, use the in-app deletion controls or uninstall the app. You can view and correct editable records, export a copy, delete individual records or delete all app data. Exported copies remain at their destination until deleted there.
8. Security and product limitation
Vitastow uses app-private storage, SQLCipher database encryption, optional app locking and password-protected authenticated backups. No security measure is perfect. The Operator cannot recover a forgotten backup password.
Vitastow is not a medical device or healthcare service. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a condition or recommend dosage, products or treatment.
9. Changes
When this policy materially changes, its version and effective date will change. Where required, Vitastow will provide notice or request renewed acceptance.
